In mid-October 1966, The Doors are newly signed to Elektra and have yet to release their first album. Prior to starting their official careers as musicians, they are required to sign applications for membership in the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers. Jim Morrison's last Will & Testament are known to collectors and fans along with many other documents concerning the estate and its rightful heirs. Pamela Courson is said to have inherited Jim Morrison's estate on the day of her death, April 25th, 1974.
