This internal newsletter was issued by Elektra after both Light My Fire and The Doors LP reached 'Gold' status in August of 1967. The letter also makes note of The Doors upcoming single release of People Are Strange.

This internal newsletter for Elektra was written by Elektra Press agent Danny Fields for the May 1968 issue. The article highlights The Doors performances at the Fillmore East, the Albert Goldman and LIFE Magazine media coverage, and Jim Morrison's photo session with Richard Avedon for Vogue Magazine. Danny reports that he informed The Doors backstage at the Fillmore East that "Now you are the supergroup", and a quote from Steve Paul is used to the describe the performances.
