8mm silent color footage shot by Paul Ferrara and Jim Morrison during the filming of Jim Morrison's screen test film HWY: An American Pastoral. This footage is edited into a short video titled The Hitchiker - Killer On The Road in 2007 and included with the first 50 pre-orders of Paul Ferrara's autobiography Flash Of Eden. The video gives the viewer a behind-the-scenes look at the making of HWY and features Paul Ferrara and Frank Lisciandro loading a camera as Jim Morrison awaits shooting below. This is a private home movie film not included in the production of HWY.

Silent color footage shot on 4 rolls of 8mm by Henry Diltz on a Bauer camera in December of 1969. The Doors had just finished shooting the Morrison Hotel album cover and were in need of publicity photos. The band spent a day in Venice at the beach with Henry Diltz, and along with many photos, this film captures the event. Although shot during a photoshoot for Morrison Hotel, these are private films in the possession of Henry Diltz. Lengthy VHS tape edits are known to collectors, however no known official releases are known to date. In recent years, higher quality clips have appeared in various documentaries.

These short color film clips of Jim Morrison were captured by Agnès Varda at the Château de Chambord in France in June 1970 on the set of Peau d'Ane (Donkey Skin) during a vacation to Europe taken by Jim and press agent Leon Barnard. Peau d'Ane is a french fairy-tale type film production directed by Jacques Demy, of whom Agnès Varda is married to. Although Jim Morrison does not appear in the film itself, he can be seen lazing about on set with friend Alain Ronay, and signing an autograph for actress Delphine Seyrig's son. Photographs of Jim Morrison taken on this day are also known and were likely taken by Alain Ronay as evident in the footage. These brief clips are featured in Agnès Varda's documentary L'Univers de Jacques Demy (The World Of Jacques Demy), released in 1995 and re-released on DVD in 2019.

During mid-October 1970, Jim Morrison takes a road trip with Charlotte Stewart, the actress later known for her role as Miss Beadle in the Little House On The Prairie television series. Charlotte brings her 8mm camera along. Shot at multiple stages of the trip, this film features Jim Morrison driving from Los Angeles to San Simeon, touring and eating a burrito in and around Hearst Castle, then driving back through Solvang, CA. Also included are various shots from hotels/motels, a restaurant in Malibu, and more unidentified locations filmed while Jim Morrison is driving. At present date, not all of the footage has been made available to collectors, and a breakdown of the exact routes taken and seen during the trip are still being mapped out by fans.

On April 9th, 1971, Jim and Pam leave Paris for Toulouse in southwest France for a three week holiday. From Toulouse they travel west to Madrid in Spain and eventually end up in Granada where they spend several days. From Granada, they travel to Morocco and various other locations including the island of Corsica in France. It is said that Pam shot numerous rolls of 8mm film to document their vacation, and photographs confirm the use of Jim Morrison's Nizo S65 camera on the trip. They eventually return to Paris on May 3rd.

In 2012, a three and a half minute 8mm film reel marked 'Cemetery in Corsica' from the 127 Fascination Box is brought to light, and in late 2013, screenshots and information are revealed for an online sale of the film. The film is later purchased by a collector, transferred, and uploaded to YouTube in September 2021. Close inspection of the footage reveals that the cemetery shown in the footage is the Cimetière communal located in Saint-Florent on the north side of the island.
