The Doors kick off the final leg of their 1972 European tour in England with a performance on BBC's Old Grey Whistle Test, and is the third and last known European television performance for 1972. This BBC2 television program was shot in the Pres B Studio of the BBC Television Centre in London, and aired on Tuesdays as the last show of the evening with host 'Whispering' Bob Harris. The original broadcast takes place on May 9th, 1972 and also features a performance by Tom Paxton. The broadcast version of this episode of Old Grey Whistle Test has not turned up as of yet, however a timecoded copy of the original production footage has survived. Photographs from this performance taken by an unidentified photographer are known to collectors.
