The Doors appear on CBC's weekly half hour public affairs program The Way It Is produced by Ross McLean, and hosted by journalist-interviewer Warren Davis. Shot in black and white, the band visits CBC's studio complex at 400 Jarvis St. following their arrival in Toronto on April 20th, 1968. Concert promoter John Brower appears in the program, announcing over the phone that the band has arrived. Original audio is native to the program and Jim Morrison is heard commenting "What are all these people doing here? I hate people." Ray Manzarek and Robby Krieger also appear. This footage is intercut with performance footage of The Doors and other news footage. Also included in the program is Toronto folk singer Bonnie Dobson who performs four songs. This episode was broadcast on May 26th, 1968.

Although the identity and whereabouts of the complete program are known, only select clips are currently available to collectors for viewing. Overlapping rolls of footage shot during this event by the Feast Of Friends crew are also known.
