ARRESTED: JULY 1964
In July of 1964, Jim Morrison is charged and presumed detained for an infraction in category IV 4/b of the law in Ensenada, Mexico. Details of the offense are unknown, however this section of the law refers to a traffic violation in the nature of reckless driving or causing a minor accident. A hefty fine of $100 pesos, equivalent to $8 U.S. dollars in 1964, is paid in full on July 12th to the Comandancia De Policia De Ensenada, and a record of the payment is issued to Jim.
