TRIALS & ARRESTS: INGLEWOOD
ARRESTED: JANUARY 23rd, 1966
This is Jim Morrison's first arrest as a member of The Doors, although the band was in very early stages during this time period. The exact sequence of events are unknown, however Jim Morrison is charged with Battery by Phil O'leno's father after Phil goes missing. It is reported that Jim Morrison was circulating a story about Phil's death, and the police are notified. The charges are laid by the Inglewood Police Department in California and are later dismissed when it is discovered that Phil is safe and sound.
