A Local Newspaper Reports On The Arrest Of Jim Morrison in West Hollywood

The Long Beach Independent in California reports that on August 6th, 1970 the police had been called to a West Hollywood home belonging to Eleanor Brough to see about a suspected intoxicated person sleeping on her front porch. The drunken individual turns out to be Jim Morrison. Reports on the Miami trial indicate that members of The Doors had arrived in Miami on this date for Jim's trial, however this arrest is indication that Jim was not amongst them. He is released on a $25 bail and scheduled to appear the next day. This is the second of three arrests taking place since the Miami show on March 1st, 1969.
