EYE FILM
Info:
Titled EYE FILM, an undocumented 16mm silent black and white experimental film features still photographs taken by an unknown photographer during The Doors Fillmore East performances in March 1968. The producer/director of this film is currently unknown, however its purpose is described as "What the Eye experienced in the 1960's". The film also features other 1960's events including scenes of the Kennedy's, the Kent State shooting, civil rights riots, Apollo 11, etc. This film is in private hands and does not circulate amongst collectors.
LOST FILM
Info:
During one of The Doors performances at the Fillmore East in March 1968, an unidentified audience member with what is most likely a 16mm camera can be spotted in a photograph taken from the stage. This footage has never surfaced and may no longer exist.
