FEAST OF FRIENDS:

Santa Rosa - Sonoma County Fairgrounds Grace Pavilion

Info:

This brief footage of Jim Morrison riding in an MGB-GT appears to have been shot while on the way to the Sonoma County Fairgrounds in Santa Rosa, and may represent the very first of the filming for Feast Of Friends. Driving the car is Carolyn Fetzer, a friend of Paul Ferrara and Jim Morrison. Carolyn is later considered for a role in the filming of The Hitchhiker.

Backstage footage shot in black and white of The Doors at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds Grace Pavilion on April 13th, 1968. The Doors are filmed as they head to the stage. This is the first of the performance footage shot for what would later become Feast of Friends.

The Doors are filmed on stage at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds Grace Pavilion in Santa Rosa, CA. Portions of this filmwork can be seen on the Live In Europe official release, and Tom DiCillo's When You're Strange documentary.
