"The concert was five months after Other Voices was released, and was my first real chance to see The Doors. I was too young for their 1968 Copenhagen concerts. I'd been completely hooked since hearing Light My Fire in 1967, and was pleased that they decided to continue with Other Voices. It did show some of The Doors magic, after all.

The concert was poorly attended. There was about 100-150 people in the audience spread out in the hall. But everyone there seemed to like it. The standout was Ships w/ Sails and of course Light My Fire. It was also a treat to hear the unreleased Full Circle tracks.

Some 50 years later, I remember the concert as "they were impressive", as my companion put it. I also still think that Other Voices has some fine tracks but Full Circle wasn't really The Doors.

Sure The Doors were right in giving the band a chance, but also right to split the band the following year."
