-Summerfest takes place over 10 days - Jul. 14-23.
-Approx. 77,000 on festival grounds on this date.
-This is the main rock show of Summerfest.
-Stage manager Charles Fain unplugs the Quicksilver Messenger Service at 11:00pm due to time constraints.
-The Doors appear on stage shortly after 11:00pm and perform for approx. 1 hour.
-During The Doors performance of Light My Fire, a downed tent-concession nearby is set ablaze.
-Comedian George Carlin is arrested for his 'seven words' skit at this years Summerfest (July 21st).
