The Doors give an interview to Hans Becker of Radio Veronica, an offshore free-radio station of the Netherlands, while staying at the Howard Johnson Hotel in Amsterdam. The interview is later broadcast during Lex Harding's Lexjo radio show with music by The Doors ranging from Break On Through to Ships With Sails mixed in between. The exact date of broadcast is unknown, however recorded copies are known to collectors.

Over the course of 60 hours on the weekend of October 27th 1972, Bill Graham broadcasts a radio show of epic proportions on KSAN in San Francisco known as Bill Graham's Fillmore Weekend, beginning at 6:00pm on Friday, and he remains awake for the entire commercial-free duration of the show, ending at 6:00am on Monday October 30th. Featuring both live tape recordings and records from a multitude of bands who played his Fillmore venues, The Doors are included throughout the broadcast, with a spot running from 11:00-12:00am on Saturday allegedly covering their shows at the Fillmore Auditorium on January 6th-8th, 1967, and again on Sunday from 10:00-11:00am covering their shows on June 9th & 10th 1967. As there are currently no known surviving copies of this program, the exact contents of The Doors portion are unknown, however it is speculated that live recordings of the band were used in the production. The Doors are featured on minister and disc jockey Bill Huie's "What's It All About" series in 1972, pressed on 7" 45rpm mono records for syndicated broadcast on religious radio stations. The series is produced by TRAV, an agency of the Southern Presbyterian Church of Atlanta, GA in association with Bell Records, Elektra Records, and Alchemical Music Co. and includes artists such as Led Zeppelin, Bob Dylan, and The Rolling Stones. Actual broadcast dates are unknown. Each program features an introduction by Bill Huie, a track by the featured band, and a short interview segment with a band member. The Doors appear on program #122 with Ships With Sails, and program #154 with The Mosquito, and both programs feature the same interview segment with Ray Manzarek.
