Synopsis:
"A free-wheeling glimpse into the world of popular music as experienced by the Doors during one of their tours. There are times when the film achieves the height of science-fiction, as we observe members of an overwrought audience hurtle themselves through a gauntlet of police guards in order to touch Jim Morrison and the contrast between turmoil and moments of peace (ending in a dreamlike sail to a Golden Valhalla) is strangely barbaric and gentle at the same time.
