The Doors lip sync Light My Fire for this live television broadcast of Disc-O-Teen, hosted by horror legend Zacherley at the Mosque Theatre Building in Newark, NJ. Airing every evening at 6:15pm in the New Jersey / New York area for 45 minutes, this episode features multiple bands, and teenagers dance along to the music. The Doors are interviewed by Zacherley when the song is finished. WNJU-TV is a UHF Station on Channel 47 broadcasting from the Empire State Building in New York. This channel does not reach a wide range of viewers due to its format. In a later episode airing on November 4th, teenagers dance to Light My Fire, although The Doors are not present. No surviving copies of the live performance broadcast are known.
