On May 3rd or 4th, 1969 Jim Morrison is in attendance with Eric Burdon of The Animals at the Whisky A Go Go in Los Angeles to see Miami band Blues Image perform. The duo are asked to join the group on stage for a jam, and a closeup photograph of Jim Morrison and Mike Pinera of Blues Image is taken by an unknown photographer. In 2024, an incredibly rare surviving print from the collection of Mike Pinera is delivered to longtime friend Angela Bucchi Silvers.
